We stayed here one night this week and wish we had planned to stay longer. We were here on a Friday night so we missed the Saturday night camp sponsored bonfire. The campground was in a great location on the lake, and our campsite was right on the edge of the lake. Gorgeous spot, loons calling, nice breeze to chase away any mosquitoes. The owner, Al, was friendly, welcoming, and accommodating (when I couldn't decide which spot to choose, he was very patient and just let me go until I decided). Quiet, family-oriented campground. There are two wash rooms, one is older (more convenient to lakeside campsites) and the other is further away but brand new. I didn't spend enough time in the bathroom for it to make any difference to me -- everything there worked just fine. They have a campstore, bike and canoe rentals, and campfire wood for sale. I loved the place and look forward to my next trip to Maine.
